Nørgård in New York
Friday, June 17, 8pm
We are honored to be part of the first-ever American retrospective of the music of Denmark’s leading composer Per Nørgård, spear-headed by Garth Sunderland and his Lost Dog New Music Ensemble. This is an extremely significant musical event, as attested to by Russell Platt in The New Yorker. If you would like to hear more about Nørgård and the festival, you can listen to George Grella’s podcast, Rail Tracks, from the Red Bull Music Studios, which includes commentary from Momenta cellist Michael Haas. Full Festival information is available at NorgardinNewYork.org
Admission: $20, or $45 for a 3-concert festival pass
